The first issue of “Ritsa” journal was published in Sokhumi in 1975, but previously it was published as an almanac. The editors of the journal were: Otar Churghulia, Giorgi Sichinava, Guram Odisharia, Givi Beraia, Zaur Kalandia.

The journal “Ritsa” is published three times a year and its circulation is 300 units.
